Minimal Audio Ripple Phaser
Ripple Phaser isn’t your next classic phaser plugin that comes standard in every DAW (Logic Pro, Ableton Live, etc.). Minimal Audio has expanded and pushed the concept of a phaser forward in Ripple Phaser.
This starts with the basics. RP features up to 24 notches, allowing you to create complex phasing effects. Of course, you can also go more subtle with one or two notches. However, the higher you go, the more unique the effect becomes.
Once you choose the perfect notch party, you can dive deep into it. You can choose from seven phaser modes, each with a distinct character.
It has classic phaser modes (classic, inverted, clean), unique filter configurations (lowpass, highpass, bandpass), and even a modern all-pass “disperser” algorithm.
Each algorithm is customizable with various easy-to-use parameters, including bend, center, and spread. You can simply assign them to a MIDI controller and swipe manually. Automated swiping is also possible.
Ripple Phaser also includes a modulation engine in the form of a sycable, morphing LFO. Alongside classic controls like rate and shape, it also has controllable randomization and an offset. With the mod depth, you can easily adjust the modulation amount.
Minimal Audio has also integrated a stereo-image feature. Combine Ripple Phaser’s different modes with stereo frequency offset and cross-feedback to create unique stereo imaging effects.
