Enter the Synth Anatomy SYNTHMAS giveaway #14 to win a license of Tone 2 Icarus 2, a Synthesizer workstation plugin with tons of features.
Happy SYNTHMAS day 14. Only 10 days left until Christmas. How time flies crazy. But that also means only 11 more giveaways for the SYNTH ANATOMY community.
Drum roll…. a Synthesizer plugin is hidden behind door 14. Not a classic one but a true flagship synth with tons of synthesis power and with an excellent sound quality.
SYNTHMAS Giveaway #14
For the SYNTHMAS Giveaway #14, I teamed up once again with Tone2 Audio Software from Germany. After the Saurus 3 giveaway, I’m increasing the level and adding Tone 2’s flagship wavetable Synthesizer plugin Icarus 2 to the pot. A lucky participant can download a license for this great synth today. But what is Icarus 2?
Icarus 2 is a multi-engine Synthesizer that is second to none. It features 54 different synthesis methods including 3D wavetables, classic wavetables, sample resynthesis, additive, VA, 6-operator FM, waveshaping, physical modeling, phase distortion, granular, and more. The core uses three stereo oscillator blocks with up to 10 detuned hypersaw oscillators and many different modes. In addition, there are two modular filter blocks with no less than 63 different filter types to choose from with many innovative ones in-house developed by the Tone2 team.
Then, you get 54 diferent effects and a unique glitch grid-based sequencer that allows you to dive deep in experimental sounds. On the modulation side, you have 2 multi-segment envelopes with looping, 4 AHDSR, 2 hold envelopes, yes 16 LFOs with sine waveform, as well as 3 LFOs with 45 morphable waveforms. Plus, it offers full MPE support, a built-in drum sequencer with 100 drum patterns and ships with 1600+ presets. Did I promise too much?
Icarus 2 is a monster Synthesizer plugin. Loads of synthesis power, a filter paradise, and modulation to make all parameters dance. I guarantee that it takes months to try all the functions in detail. And until then there will be another update with new features. And today one lucky reader of SYNTH ANATOMY can win Icarus 2.
