AAS updates its Multiphonics CV-1 modular synth plugin to v1.1 with new lowpass gate & ladder filter modules, and release Latin Vibes 2 sound pack
Applied Acoustics Systems are specialists in the field of physical modeling. With the new Multiphonics CV-1 plugin, AAS finally explore modular synthesis again. That was already the case in the past with the Tassmann 4, a big highlight from the history of the Canadian developers.
With Multiphonics CV-1, AAS is back in the modular business but with Eurorack inspired software. In v1.1, the module selection is growing with two new additions.
AAS Multiphonics CV-1 Update 1.1
The new free update 1.1 for the Multiphonics CV-1 modular Synthesizer is out now. It increases the module amount and expands the possibilities. Something you like to see as an existing customer. First addition is a versatile low-pass gate, which borrows ideas from West Coast synthesis. A module that makes very organic and smooth modulations possible.
Then, the filter range has been expanded with a new ladder filter, a circuit that Robert Moog invented and is a big part of the Synthesizer history. Everyone who has to do with hard or soft synths, even the absolute beginners, knows this filter. Two great additions to the synth. AAS also added 15 new patches that complement the update by featuring these two modules in a wide range of contexts. That’s not all, there is also a new library for another synth.
AAS Latin Vibes 2 for Strum GS-2
Latin Vibes 2 is a new preset library by Christian Laffitte for the AAS Strum GS-2 acoustic and electric guitars Synthesizer and AAS Player plugins. The library ships with 12 styles, 84 guitar presets, and 84 strumming patterns playable with your own chord progressions.
Drawing from his extensive world music knowledge, Christian explores once more modern tropical Latin music but this time around, adding colors and flavors straight from the African continent.
Latin Vibes 2 is jam-packed with groovy electric and acoustic strumming loops and sounds that will for sure add good vibrations to your next world music production.
