Unfiltered Audio Lion, powerful patchable multi-engine Synthesizer plugin powered by the unique BYOME effect technology is available now
Back in July, I wrote about a new patchable Synthesizer from Unfiltered Audio. The developers have so far only attracted attention with their very special and versatile effect plugins. With Lion, they also do now Synthesizers. And as expected, this is not a normal synthesizer. The good news in advance: Lion is now available.
Lion carries the same DNA as the previous plugins of Unfiltered Audio and features an impressive feature setup: dual oscillator with 26 different modes (subtractive, FM, super-oscillator, granular, noise…), extensive oscillator modulations, different mix modes and more.
One of Lion’s big highlights is the built-in BYOME effect engine, which includes over 40 effects that are free configurable and all modulatable with the clever modular design, known from the other UA plugins. From the first look, Lion is a true sound design playground that offers almost endless possibilities.

Pick and choose from FM synthesis, subtractive or additive waveforms, “super” oscillator stacks, microsound, noise, or variations on each!
