XILS-Lab has today released PolyKB III V3.5, a significant update for its RSF Polykobol II Synthesizer emulation. The new update features a new natural sounding reverb, an improved preset manager, new GUI/UI and more.
If you are interested in the particular sound of Polykobol Synthesizer and do not have the money to buy any hardware (original or Black Corporation Kijimi) then I recommend this emulation. For a limited time, you can save 45% OFF the regular price on PolyKB III V3.5 Update only on the developer website.
XILS-lab is proud to announce availability of PolyKB III v3.5 — an authentic-sounding simulation of the ultra-rare RSF Polykobol II ‘white whale’ (which, sadly, saw the demise of its innovative creators, completely out of touch with 1983’s arrival of Yamaha’s digital dominance-triggering DX7 super-seller), albeit one on software steroids and now lifted to heightened levels of expressivity and musicality, thanks to several significant improvements over previous versions
New In PolyKB III V3.5
- more effects: a natural sound reverb has been added to the existing effects
- new GUI/UI: The GUI has been revamped: No more knob shadows which made the serigraphies sometimes difficult to read, and the Tab selector has been redrawn from scratch, as well as the tabs content. Synthesis blocks are now clearly separated by grey lines to make the unit more intuitive to use.
- new preset manager: With hundreds to thousands of presets on board, content management is quickly becoming a key point of a fully enjoyable experience when playing synthesizers. Following Stix and the Xils 4, PolyKB 3.5 has inherited the new Xils One Window integrated Preset Manager : Find the right preset in seconds, create your own tags; multiselection/multi-tagging, export/import & manage banks, projects, or selections : Everything is there to make your work easier, faster, and more productive.
