Echo Fix has been known for over 10 years for their repair of vintage tape echoes. Now the company has decided to put their know-how into a completely new developed product. The result is EF-X2, a new hardware tape echo effect inspired by vintage units but with modern technology. Per example, they use here a procedure, which keeps the tapes longer as before.

Interesting is here: you can use the EF-X2 not only as classic analog tape echo but also as pre-amp or digital DSP reverb. It can be used with guitars, in the studio or with modular Synthesizers, as for example Time and Feedback can be controlled with CV.
