At this year’s Thomann Synth Reactor Event, creators met for the first time to network and produce content at Thomann’s HQ. One of them was Marc Doty aka AutomaticGainsay.
He took a closer look at the Moog Music Grandmother analog Synthesizer and made a nice three-part long video where he dives deep in the concept of this synth. Three good videos for all who are interested in the Grandmother.
Grandmother is a semi-modular analog synthesizer with a built-in arpeggiator, sequencer, and spring reverb tank. Start playing immediately with “no patching required”, and then explore an infinite sonic playground with Grandmother’s reconfigurable front panel.
Grandmother’s circuits, spring reverb, and spirit are inspired by the classic Moog Modular Synthesizers, making this instrument a powerful addition to a Mother-32, DFAM or any Eurorack modular system.
Moog Music Grandmother is available now for $899 USD.
