Atomicreverbfree is a free reverb plugin for macOS and Windows. Molecularbytes Atomicreverbfree is a streamlined and 100% free version of the atomicreverb2, featuring the same algorithmic core with resonance suppression but with reduced features.
The plugin has various controls for tweaking the reverb engine. Particularly striking here are the two main parameters, the room size and reverb time, available on bigger knobs.
Then, you can set the dry/wet control and gain, as well as the early reflections/tail and pre-delay. The early reflection is fully tweakable with stretch and type parameters.
According to the developers, it offers all-purpose natural early reflections for a convincing sense of space and for a variety of musical styles. The tail, based on the Diffusion Room algorithm, is also fully customizable, using the attack and movement controls.
Also onboard are low- and high-frequency shelf filters for shaping/damping the reverb character and final sound. Molecularbytes also ships the plugin with various ready-to-use presets, showcasing the sonic range.
