Ujam Groovemate One
Groovemate One is a lightweight 10 MB percussion plugin that packs quality shakers, claps, and tambourine sounds. It’s not your ultimate drum plugin, but it’s a handy tool that adds extra salt to your drum tracks.

Think of salt as a spice – working dutifully in the background, a little bitter when consumed in masses. But no dish will come to full expression of flavours without it. Same goes for pop songs and percussion.
Ujam Groovemate One ship with ready-to-use sounds that can be playback using built-in phrases. Alternatively, you can program your own grooves using the one-shot sounds. Great, you can export the phrases as MIDI files by drag-and-dropping them into your DAW.
The plugin has 30 different presets with solo and combi instruments, each with a helpful description. You can tweak them with three one-knob parameters: mix, reverb, and volume. Nine mixes (standard, vintage, etc.) and four reverb modes are available to explore, giving you other results.
Finally, using the micro timing menu, you can choose between multiple quantization modes and add swing to your tracks.
First Impression
A nice, practical percussion plugin with lots of great sounds. At around 10MB, it doesn’t take up much space on your system. So don’t miss it.
