Loopcloud Super 8
Loopcloud is a subscription service for samples and loops. You can search either in a standalone app for new content or right in a plugin in your DAW. So no detours.
The software uses an AI-driven search function, giving you access to over 4 million samples and loops. In this, you can audition individual samples in real time with the current key and tempo. It also allows you to modify, add effects, and more.
As with any subscription, you can access this sample catalog as long as you pay. The deal (2 months of artist) gives you in total of 200 points (100 per month), a 1 GB welcome pack, 10 free sounds per day, and a plugin suite. Plus, you get the Native Instruments Super 8 Synthesizer plugin for free.
Important: you get a lifetime key for Super 8 Synthesizer that will always be yours and will always work. This means you can subscribe to Loopcloud, try out the service, and then unsubscribe and keep the plugin. Not a bad deal.
What Is Native Instruments Super 8
Super 8 is an analog modeling Synthesizer that is described as a modern take on vintage polysynth sounds.
It features two analog-style, rich-sounding oscillators, a characterful filter, and a multi-fx processor. The latter offers a chorus, flanger, delay, and a reverb.
Sounds can be modulated with two LFOs (mod1/mod2) and two envelopes (filter & amp). Super 8 is super straightforward and is an ideal beginner synth.
It has full NKS support and ships with ready-to-use sounds.
