The plugin gives you the character of the classic cream-colored box with those famously spacious algorithms, reanimated in detail, upgraded, and primed for DAW production. It is capable to create endless canyon reflections, crisp ambient clouds, or small room bounciness; the clean, musical, must-have reverb that changed the game.

Arturia’s take on the Lexicon 224 also has upgraded features to discover a different side to reverb. This includes visual editing up to sidechain-like effects.

First Impression

The FX Collection has a variety of new but also vintage-inspired/emulated effect plugins. It’s no really a secret that a Lexicon 224 emulation is on Arturia’s to-do list. It’s one of the most legendary reverbs and fits perfectly in their FX plugin lineup. I think it’s nice that it’s not just a pure emulation but a reverb with advanced features.
