UVI Percussion Factory
Percussion Factory is a new virtual percussive instrument for UVI Falcon and the free UVI Workstation. It consists of 8 percussion slots/parts powered by an advanced sequencer engine.
Each drum part can be adjusted with various parameters in the sound, including controls over the pitch, dynamics, an ADSR envelope, and a multimode filter with a dedicated envelope. The library ships with 1000 ready-to-use percussion sounds, over 500 hand-craft kits, and more.
You can find a wide range of genres and styles, from modern production to regional ensembles from Africa, India, the Middle East, North and South America, the Caribbean, and more. All sounds are available individually and accessible from a well-organized browser. Alternatively, you can import your samples into the engine with drag-and-drop.
A highlight of the library is the built-in sequencer engine. Besides the built-in 4000+ sequences, you can create own polyrhythmic patterns from scratch. In addition to the classic step-based sequencer generation, the instrument also has AI-based extra goodies that help to get results faster.
These range from an intelligent preset generator and a sample auto-alignment system to performance-oriented features like morphable grooves and real-time sequence decimation.
Further, you can apply a multi-effects processor with a bit-crusher, flanger, frequency shifter, EQ, delay, and IR reverb to refine your sounds.
