DEAL: for a limited time, you can download for FREE the UVI Prime 8+, a sample-based 808 virtual drum machine for macOS and Windows.
It’s free plugin time, or should I say free sample library day? Well it’s a sample-based instrument that runs in a free Player plugin. Anyway, it’s a free deal that you should not miss.
UVI has recently announced that they are giving away its Prime 8+ virtual instrument for the free UVI Player and Falcon 2 Synthesizer as a free download for a limited time. It normally costs 39€.
UVI Prime 8+
Prime 8+ is a virtual instrument that takes inspiration from one most iconic analog drum machines, the Roland TR-808. The core engine is powered by the UVI Falcon 2 engine that hosts 446 sampled sound sources.
For an authentic operation, UVI has built a new interface that is also heavily based on the TR-808. You get full control over all 16 sampled instruments. Some instruments are hidden behind a second menu window and can be selected with a switch.
Each instrument comes with a good selection of parameters, including level control, single/mute, and tone control… Plus, you get set for each channel the amount of reverb, delay, drive, and filter. Cool, Prime 8+ can easily switch between a single stereo output or per-channel multi-out operation allowing you to refine your mix further.
Then, patterns can be programmed using the built-in XOX sequencer with 16 or 32 steps. Not in the mood of creating own patterns? No problem. Prime8+ also ships with over 1100 MIDI patterns, from classics to modern genres. Handy, you can also drag and drop your patterns as a MIDI file to your DAW. For instant fun, it ships with over 140 presets
UVI Prime 8+ is available now as a free download using the code FREEP8 at checkout. It runs as a virtual instrument in the free 64-bit only UVI Player plugin or Falcon 2 Synthesizer. It’s a free download but you require a software iLok account to register your copy. This deal is available until November 15th, 2022.
