Berlin-based sound artist Sacha Ketterlin takes you on a 21-minute long sound journey in his performance for this year’s SynthFest France 2021 online event. It is one of the most advanced performances of the event, especially in the gear area.
In its setup are a Buchla Easel Command, MacBeth X-Series Synthesizer, a two-case Eurorack system, and Ableton Live controlled with a MIDI controller.
Sacha Ketterlin (SynthFest France 2021)
Born in Switzerland and raised in France, he has been living in Berlin since 2008. Classically trained in piano, he is now known for his absorptive, richly textured electronic sounds created with modular synthesizers. Strongly influenced by techno and rave culture, he went on to dive deeply in the electronic music scene, organizing techno parties and Ambisonic events with live performances in focus.
He is the creative mind behind Intumi Records and Higher Resonance.
Last December he released a new album “Trinity” with three new tracks and a remix.
