The powerful Elektron Octatrack MkII hardware sequencing sampler is now available in black for all without limitation.
When Elektron presented a limited black version of the Octatrack MkII in 2020, the demand was huge. The version was sold out in no time.
Now there is the news that the Octatrack Mk2 is available in the black version. Not limited, no special addition, just the regular unit in black.
Elektron Octatrack MkII Black
The new Octatrack MkII Black comes with a new black casing and a refreshed print design. Hardware and software features remain the same. 8 audio tracks, 8 MIDI Tracks, up to 64 steps per pattern, individual track lengths & track time signatures and more. In addition to its super creative sequencer, the Octatrack has a sample manipulation engine that is almost without competition to this day.
With OS 1.40, Elektron has given the Octatrack Mk1 and Mk2 new features that make the device even more exciting. This includes parameter randomization, tempo per pattern… and more.
Octratrack Mk3?
Who now asks where is the Octratack Mk3 version. Well, on the one hand, after almost 11 years, a real makeover would be a nice move. On the other hand, you can also understand Elektron. Why a big makeover if there is no real solid competition for the Octatrack to this day. There are alternatives, but none of the functions can match them.
For everyone who wants a black Octratrack, now the option is there.
Elektron Octratrack MKII is available now for 1399 USD /1399€.
