Behringer MonoPoly, an analog clone of the legendary Korg Synthesizer (1981) is going into production and shipping starts in November

If we trust the current news, we will be flooded with new available Behringer synths at the end of the year. This week we received the news that the 2600 (ARP 2600 clone) is in production and will soon be shipped to dealers. Now the next clone is ready.

Behringer announced today that the MonoPoly will go into production shortly. It took a little longer because the developers decided to give the synth an auto-tune function. That is certainly a welcome extra feature. The first units are to be sent to dealers in November. Depending on which transport is taken (air freight or ship), this can take between 3 and 6 weeks. With a little luck, the Behringer MonoPoly and 2600 will be under the Christmas trees of synthesizer friends.

The price question is the same as for the 2600. There is currently no official one. Behringer is currently calculating the prices of both synths. If there is any news on this, you will find out here.

Behringer Post

The MonoPoly is now getting ready for production and we hope to ship the first units from our factory in November. We know it took longer than we had expected, but we decided last minute to add a very useful Auto-Tune function that will help you to keep this synth in perfect tune. It’s such a beautiful synth and we’re sure you’ll like it as much as we do. Like with the 2600, we’re now calculating the actual manufacturing cost so we can then set the sales price based on our “bottom up” calculation method. As always, it’s our mission to provide you with products at the lowest possible price so everyone can afford it. We truly appreciate all the encouraging comments and love we’re receiving from you. That’s tremendously inspiring to work even harder for you. Thank you!

Nonetheless, it is good to hear the fact that the Behringer MonoPoly is now going into production and that it is becoming a real product.
