The Subharmonicon is Moog Music latest semi-modular analog Synthesizer release and is something very different!

The Moog Music Subharmonicon is a unique semi-modular analog Synthesizer that is inspired by the Trautonium & Rhythmicon from the past. This new synth was only available in limited quantities at the VIP engineering workshop. Unfortunately, it’s a bit sad that the company has not said to this day whether this very special Moog synth goes into commercial production or not.

I think if Moog Music will announce this synth as a official product, it will be a big success. The YouTuber Loopop was at this year’s Moogfest and soldered one of these Subharmonicon Synthesizers. Here is a full tutorial and hands-on review of this new synth from Moog.

“This year’s workshop will build the Subharmonicon, a brand-new electronic instrument inspired by the Trautonium, the Rythmicon, and the Schillinger System. It is a semi-modular harmonic kaleidoscope that divides into itself until everything that is up becomes down.
