Moog Subsequent 25, a 25-key version of the Subsequent 37 paraphonic analog Synthesizer is leaked in a Polish music shop catalog today.
In mid-December, I reported about the Moog Subsequent 25 Synthesizer leak that appeared in a Polish music shop catalog. Now the truth of this leak has been confirmed by a new photo found on Facebook/Instagram. In this picture, you can see a Chicago-based experimental musician holding a box of the new Subsequent 25.
She writes: “just picking up another SICK SYNTH that isn’t even released to the public yet. #moog”. So it is certain that Moog will introduce the Subsequent 25 analog Synthesizer at NAMM 2020.

News From December 18th, 2019
According to the Polish Skylark Music Store, it features a two-note paraphonic (duo-mode) analog engine that is based on the design of the Subsequent 37 tribute edition.
The source also says that the Moog Subsequent 25 offers a 25 keys keyboard with aftertouch, 2 DAHDSR envelopes, a preset system with 256 sounds, arpeggiator and step sequencer. It comes also with a dedicated plugin editor that allows you to control synth from any DAW. It looks like this is the successor to the beloved Moog Sub-Phatty analog Synthesizer, which has been on the market for a long time
CV & Gate Connectivity From The Tribute Edition?
If we can believe the source, it is based on the Subsequent 37 Tribute Edition, which is equipped with a selection of CV connections. So the Subsequent 25 will probably also have these with which you can connect to your Eurorack Synthesizer.

It is interesting that the catalog indicates the year 2018 (2.11.2018 – 31.12.2018) on the bottom. However, a second photo also shows current synthesizers such as the Moog Matriarch or Waldorf Kyra. Plus, there is a note on the lower right-hand side that this is a catalog from 2019.
On this Polish web store and in the matching catalog, you can see a price of 4444 Polish Zloty or converted US$1,167.84 and 1042€. Stay tuned for all details.
