SLM2 by TBProAudio is a new easy-to-use loudness maximizer plugin for PC & Mac with “analog spice”, oversampling up to 16x & more!
TBProAudio released the second version of the SLM plugin. The SLM2 is an easy-to-use stereo loudness maximizer plugin that includes everything you need. Analog spice, oversampling up to 16x, full control over attack and release & more. All this is packed inside a modern and simple designed interface.
SLM2 is a smart stereo loudness maximizer including “analog spice” and 16x over-sampling. The goal of the design was to maximize the loudness of the audio signal while maintaining transparency. The SLM2 DSP analyses every sample of the incoming stereo signal within a defined time frame and calculates the optimal volume increase. This guarantees maximum possible transparency.
The overall loudness can be further increased by the following, optional clipper stage. Signal aliasing can be reduced by enabling over-sampling. SLM2 is used in all limiting situation like track/bus and master limiting.
- Highly efficient loud-max peak limiter.
- Saturation of input signal.
- Fully control of attack and release.
- Switch-able lookahead.
- Additional drive/clip stage.
- Stereo link.
- “real” oversampling, up to 16x.
- Easy to use GUI.
- Large and accurate live meters.
- All sample rates.
SLM2 by TBProAudio is now available for Windows and Mac OS X (VST2, VST3, AU, AAX, RTAS) for 49€. A free demo version is available on the developer website.
