The Minimoog Synthesizer is still a constant in our new age. Whether original, the Model D clone from Behringer, a plugin or as an iOS app. For every budget you can play with a Minimoog. There are many plugins that can emulate the sound of the Minimoog excellent (Synapse Audio The Legend, U-he DIVA or the Mini-V from Arturia), but most of the time the interaction with them is unattractive. Often, musicians use the mouse or even simple MIDI controllers.
In 2015, the Dutch developer Sound Force released a MIDI controller that works perfectly with any Minimoog emulation. This controller had the same design as the original Synthesizer and all the parameters were mappable over MIDI. 3 years have passed now and the developer announced today the SFC-Mini V2, a further development of this unique MIDI controller.
Pre-Release Version
The SFC-Mini V2 features new rocker switches as well as a new design: front panel in wood with a protective coating, the sides and back plate is made in black acrylic plastic. Only 2 units were made with this finish and colour scheme.
There is no information yet when the developer will release the SFC-Mini V2 for the big public.
The SFC-Mini V2 pre-release version (2 units) is now available for 250€ including VAT
