Yonac released over Halloween a clockwork orange style teaser for an upcoming new iOS Synthesizer with the name KAULDRON. What we know already is that KAULDRON will be available in a standalone version as well as Audio Unit extension (AUv3). There are no information yet what kind of synthesis technology they build in this new app but what we can see in the teaser is a bit the structure.
The structure doesn’t look simple or standard but more complex. There is a synth tap with three oscillators, a multi-mode filter, noise generator, an envelope generator and more. Than also a mod, arp/fx, spawn, pads, preference and tape section. Interesting is to known what you can do with the spawn and pads section. Maybe KAULDRON will be also a multi-layer Synthesizer like KASPAR but this time maybe with a dedicated pad synth engine.
