Red Box – Monophonic Sequenced Synthesizer By Studio Bird
The next Reaktor 6 ensemble is again a Synthesizer. Studio Bird released a very simple monophonic Synthesizer with four wave oscillators, sub-oscillator, a low-pass filter, a big distortion and one simple envelope for all. For a very simplistic design, the designer doesn’t implement effects or additional modulation options via a LFO. I have to congratulate the designer, the interface is super nice and looks very professional. The synth sounds in my opinion very powerful even it doesn’t comes with a lot of features.

Blue Box – Semi Modular Synthesizer By Studio Bird
Red Box is not the only creation of Studio Bird in September. Blue Box is a semi modular polyphonic Synthesizer ensemble that comes with a front panel patchable modulation matrix. It’s a 5 voices poly synth with two oscillators, filter, two envelopes, two LFO, a reverb and a delay. Same as Red Box, the sound quality of Blue Box is great and invite musicians to design lead, pad or even drone and fx sounds. Again congratulations to the designer for this amazing interface.

Micro Series – A collection of filters for mix and studio work by Studio Bird
Studio Bird released in September beside his amazing free Synthesizer ensembles, also nice designed utility modules for the Blocks system. The Micro Series is a collection of simple ZDF filters that comes with essential features like HP, LP, monomaker, phase invert, automation and no coloration. Beside these filters, he includes also a version of the great Green Metaverb by Stephan Schmitt, with advanced EQ and gate.

Side Chain X3 – Filters & LFO’s for add rhythm on your track by Studio Bird
Studio Bird was really diligent in September. Side Chain X3 is a effect ensemble based on the Blocks system that allows musicians to create sidechain LP effects on synthesizer tracks. He extended the concept with a HP filter and a band shelve EQ. 3 additional multi-wave LFO offers a lot of cross-modulations options and they drive the 3 band EQ/filter for creating polyrhythmic effects.

Micro Tilt EQ – Emulation of the Tonelux Tilt EQ plugin By Studio Bird
Last but not least, Studio Bird also recreated the sound of the Tilt EQ plugin in a Blocks ensemble.

Latch&Patch V.2.X – Front Panel Patching Modular Synth By Moshe Banano
Already in September, Moshe Banano released the modular synthesizer Latch & Patch. At the end of September / begin of October he published an extended version which is not to be missed here. Latch& Patch V.2.X is a modular synth ensemble with 2 oscillators (Osc1 with FM & Osc2 with PWM), a sub oscillator, 2 filters with different flavours, 4 envelopes (ADSR, VNE, AHR, AR), 3 advanced LFO’s, mixer with 4 channels, delay unit and a master section. In my opinion, an exciting new modular synth where you can use virtual wires.

In summary one can say that it was again a very nice September in the Reaktor 6 user library. All this release is a reason why I like Reaktor 6 so much. Thanks to the community for these new instruments, effects and modules.
