WUSIK updated Wusik Station Synthesizer to v.8.2 and adds a lot of cool new features  and fixes a lot of bugs.

New Features:

  • Added VST Effect hosting for both SFX Sends and Layer SFX Insert. You need to create the correct folder under the DATA folder and place the plugins dll/vst files there in order to use. On Windows you create a Wusik Station DataVST Effects 32 for 32-bits and VST Effects 64 for 64-bits. On MAC just Wusik Station DataVST Effects will do. There is a limit of 14 parameters that you can tweak and modulate directly. “Open Editor” will open the original VST GUI so you can tweak all parameters (some VSTs may fail and freeze, so test it out before using the option). You can also use the Options menu to have MIDI notes sent to the VST, if it supports (by default this option is enabled). There is the Effect Program options too, so you can select programs from the original VST.
  • Added Microtuning TUN Files Support.
  • Added ADSR Mode for the Envelopes. Just click on an empty area of the envelope display and use the ADSR Mode option. Also, legacy presets will use this option too for compatibility. To do fine-tunnings use the right mouse or hold shift while dragging one option.
  • Added extra modulation options for the Envelopes when in ADSR mode: attack, decay and release.
  • Added an option to “convert” a layer from Sample Player to Wave Sequencer and vice versa. Just click Add New while in the layer you which to convert to see the Convert option.
  • Added “Delete All Layers” option into the Sample Player.
  • New Option “Save Preset (with samples) “. This creates a Preset Pack, with all samples compressed (24-bits FLAC, if the sample supports, otherwise GZip) in a single file. You can also load this file and save as a normal preset and it will load the samples from the pack file. Just keep the name similar so you don’t get confused with the files. e.g. Main.wspresetpack and Main Tweak.wspreset or something like that. Finally, it has an option to save all running instances (copies of the plugin) sample information into a single file. Them you just save your project, and it will load all sample information from the Pack file when you reopen it.
  • New Sample Formats added: FLAC, MP3, OGG and WMA.
  • Added Copy, Paste, Duplicate, Save and Load of Layers. Key Shortcut C and V can be used (by default is Alt+C and Alt+V). The options can be find on the Tree Browser options, the top Preset Name or by right-clicking on the layer you want to perform the action.
  • Added Drag-and-Drop of all possible files types into the interface. e.g. WAV, FLAC, MP3, OGG, Presets and so on…
  • New Interpolation code for the Sample-Player, plus, now it has a new option in the global menu (click the W logo) for loading 16-bit files into 16-bit memory space. Before it would take double the space for 16-bit files as it converted into 32-bit floating point memory. Just keep in mind that this is a bit slower to load and play compared to 32-bits memory format.
  • New Global Sampler-Player Auto-Loop Option. Click the W logo to show the global menu. This will force any unlooped sound to be looped entirely.
  • The Modulation Matrix now has an option to change only the Source or the Destination of an existing item.
  • The Envelopes now have a Template option. You can save and load templates by right-clicking on an empty area of the envelope interface. This does not work while in ADSR mode.
  • The Sample Player Edit-Zone option now allows you to map files and save the information with the preset. It also features some better mapping features. Key Zones and Root Key now show the Key Number and also Note Number Name. e.g. C0 D#4 …
  • Legacy Preset Importing has been improved a lot.
  • New WusikSound File Format, for multi-sampled sounds. In two formats: multi-file readable (like SFZ) and single-file binary. Both formats try to use FLAC or GZIP compression when possible. This new format replaces the old W4kSND format.
  • New Waveform Editor for the Sample Player. When you enter the Edit Zones mode, you can now open Edit Waveform to tweak the sample directly. With options such as set loop points, fade in/out, mute, remove (delete samples), normalize and maybe more in the future. Just remember to save the final file as this is not saved on the project. The Zoom option, click and drag to change zoom, or click and release without moving to switch between 3 zoom options. You can also right-click and drag the waveform to change the position with more fine tuning.
  • New Custom Effect module, which uses the same code as the Custom Filter module. Both uses a TXT file to load user defined scripts. Also added more options to the script format, adding modules as Delay, LFO, Waveshapers, Loopers and Low Pass Filter. Check the Default.txt file for details.
  • The Custom Filter was updated with several new features. Read the Default.txt file for details (as above).
  • Several New Filters added to the Custom Filter module and four Waveshapers (for distortion effects).
  • Multi Line Envelope: you can hold SHIFT for fine changes now.
  • Multi Line Envelope: new Default option, for when you open the plugin.
  • Preset Option: Global XY – click the W logo and select Preset Options to see this new feature. When selected, the XY Pad will always be the Master one.
  • New option for the Sample Player Granular Support: Grain Size. By default the size of grains is based on the key pressed. Lower keys = Higher Sizes. When a modulation source is attached to the Grain Size you can now control it directly.
The developer fixes a lot of bugs in this new version.
