Skew v2 is a further development of the original Skew plugin from early 2022 and continues its concept. It’s a nonlinear reverse delay based on three playheads. Delay, yes, but also a shaper like no other delay plugin.
The concept is unique: it continuously records incoming audio into an internal buffer and plays it back in reverse bits, rhythmically synchronized with the host transport. Well, there is more than that.
Next, you can warp the delay playback speed with various selectable non-linear curves (hyperbolic…), allowing you to bend the pitch in fascinating ways.
There are also classic delay controls, such as time, feedback, and more. I’m mentioning the delay here because it’s not exactly a classic either. It has a unique three-playhead design, with one for feedback and two more for the playback engine.
