Polyend celebrates its 10th company anniversary with a new Tracker Mini limited edition with an all-new all-metal enclosure, redesigned buttons, and more

For 10 years, the Polish company Polyend, under CEO and chief developer Piotr Raczynski, has been developing and selling synthesizers, grooveboxes, and more. The products for which Polyend is most associated are their grooveboxes, particularly the Tracker series.

Polyend celebrates its 10th anniversary this year with a special limited edition of the Tracker Mini.

The new Tracker Mini is a limited edition. It’s rebuilt in a precision-machined aluminum enclosure, with redesigned buttons, a high-resolution glass screen, and the same fast sample-based tracker engine and workflow.

According to Polyend, the new Tracker Mini LE is its first flagship handheld groovebox available in a premium all-metal enclosure. It comes in two finishes, Black or Silver. The rest of the feature set is unchanged, so you get:

  • wavetable and granular synthesis-based sound engines
  • four virtual analog and FM sound engines (ACDT, FATTM, VAPTM, WTFMTM)
  • PERC drum Synthesizer drum machine with eight voices of drum synthesis
  • stereo sampling
  • extensive sample manipulation options
  • performance features for integration into live sets
  • audio over USB
  • onboard battery for up to 8 hours of unplugged performance
  • and more

We are very happy where the Tracker Mini is today. We’ve kept improving it with regular updates, adding features our users have asked for, like synth engines and note input mode,” said Piotr Raczynski, founder and CEO of Polyend. “But for our tenth anniversary, we wanted to do something special that reflects our roots.

We revisited the core of our design philosophy and are creating a small batch of refined, all-aluminium instruments, without the compromises that come with large-scale production. It’s a reflection of what we’ve learned in the past 10 years, made to order for the people who’ve supported us through this journey.”

First Impression

At first glance, it’s a lovely version of the Tracker Mini. Reminds me a bit of an Apple-like product in this version. I wish them another 10 successful years and even more.

The Tracker Mini 10th Anniversary Edition is made to order—only the number of reserved units will be manufactured. Reservations are open until August 1st, 2025, with a $199 deposit securing one of the limited-run devices. The remaining $799 is due at shipping in late November 2025.

Each reservation also includes $199 worth of Polyend Palettes, the company’s carefully curated collection of sample packs, received upon reservation of the device.

  1. Those are beautifully designed handhelds, especially coming from a small company. Congrats, Polyend. I’m impressed.

  2. looking nice, I sold mine a little while ago but if I had the money to spare I would definitely get one of these for travel

  3. Why not just start making them like that… Instead of doing a grubby money making limited run… “look how nice it Could be”. 🤣
🤔 Remember when it was just about making music?!?

    • its not just limited edition, its also $250 more.

Save your money and get in line for a Dirtywave M8, the one that they ripped off.
Its premium all the time and significantly cheaper.

      • they all took the idea from the Amiga Music Trackers from the 80s also Dirtywave. And the first new hardware tracker was the NerdSEQ Eurorack module 😉
Later they other came with their trackers.

        • Ok, sure, yes, trackers from the 80’s.
But more recently, a small, portable tracking device… Polyend 100% saw the success of the M8 and made this overcomplicated copycat.

          • Polyend Tracker: release 2020
            Dirtywave M8: release 2021

So they traveled in time to know the success of the Dirtywave M8 😉

          • I mean, they’re both “rip offs” of LSDJ, which took inspiration from the trackers of the 80s and 90s, which took inspiration from the likes of Csound and possibly other early digital synthesis techniques, so everyone is copying everyone and it doesn’t really matter.

FWIW, I’d take a M8 over the Tracker Mini any day. In fact I ordered a M8 with the last batch. Pretty stoked!

          • Reply to Synth Anatomy: Even though Dirtywave launched later, it had it in testing before Polyend thought of releasing such a product, not to mention the fact that Timothy made the software that underlies M8 available, free of charge to everyone

  4. Looks so nice. For $1000 I’d be super hesitant based on my experience with Polyend build quality though…

    • And their support and maintenance fir that matter. Bugfixing or implementing promised features into existing gear is somewhat a lower priority than releasing new stuff or these rebrushes.

I know, the M8 only gets released in batches a few times a year but it’s so much better as a tracker. And cheaper than this thing, even with tariffs and postage to Europe. Also it’s performance capabilities with the implementation of Launchpad support absolutely dwarf the Polyend’s cute little features there. Not a plug here, but these two devices are the most comparable so if your in the market for even more gear consider the company and their customer service as well.

  5. Oh… one more thing m’am. It’s the same engine… you see… same engine…
My old french car painted in red will never be a Ferrari m’am.

    • Tell that to Roland… oh wait… they wouldn’t be able to release anything then, because anything they do is “that authentic/classic Roland sound”. Bit off topic, I know.
