Revealed Recordings Stutterizer brings Repiet’s signature sound design to a new stutter multi-FX plugin for macOS and Windows.

In recent years, many music tech developers have teamed up with artists. Hainbach, Andrew Huang, DivKid, and Infected Mushroom are just a few company artist collaborations.

The latest is the new multi-FX plugin Stutterizer from Revealed Recordings and the Dutch music producer Repiet.

Stutterizer is a new stutter multi-FX plugin created in collaboration with music producer Repiet for macOS and Windows.

At the core of the new Revealed Recordings Stutterizer lies a flexible 16-step sequencer with control over rhythm and movement. You can customize each sequencer step with individual volume and filter controls and define whether it’s active or not. This gives you different results.

Above the sequencer, you can tweak the overall effect with various controls: step size, wrap, fade in/out, and skew, which let you shape the perfect rhythmic pattern. A trim feature also allows for more detailed step division, opening deeper rhythmic options.

Alongside the stutter sequencer section, it also offers a multi-FX processor with a drive, delay, and reverb modules. Each effect has various parameters for detailed control.

The drive has three types (deep, plain, and crisp) with drive, gain, and mix parameters. Delay and reverb are very simple and offer only one mode with built-in low/high cut filtering.

The engine also includes a dual “lo-cut and high-cut filter with low- and high-cutoff. Each has adjustable frequency and resonance controls, plus switchable 12dB/24dB slopes for subtle shaping or aggressive filtering. You can also apply the filter per sequencer step or globally to your track.

Revealed Recordings ships Stutterizer with over 70 ready-to-use presets. Thirty-five of them are crafted by Repiet himself, covering a wide range of creative applications.

First Impression

At first glance, it’s a nice multi-FX plugin with stuttering. In terms of features, however, it is a bit weak compared to well-known ones like Devious Machines Infiltrator 2, which offers tons of options. However, this might be better if you want it to be simpler and less feature-crowed.

Revealed Recordings Stutterizer is available now for an introductory price of 29,95€ instead of 49,95€ (40% OFF) until the end of 2024. It runs as a VST, VST3, AU, and AAX plugin on macOS (native Apple Silicon + Intel) and Windows. A free trial is ready for download.

  1. So the question is, as you led into: what can this do that Infiltrator can’t? 🙂

I swear, it’s amazing how much Infiltrator has consolidated under one plugin. Even for simpler use cases, you can just setup some macros, or preset variations for tweaking — plus it has a 🎲 random preset picker to surprise you with an EZ click! (I wish other glitch plugins had this…)
