Moog Sound Studio Accessory Kit is a new bundle of tools (summing mixer, 3-tier rack…) that brings your 60HP synths even closer together.
The new Moog has expanded its 60HP semi-modular Synthesizer lineup with two new ones in the last three months: the Spectravox filter bank processor and the Labyrinth, aka the West-Coast Moog.
In the Moog Sound Studio, you could also purchase the first 60HP synths (Mother-32, DFAM, and Subharmonicon) as a bundle. This included a 3-tier rack and a handy summing mix. Many expressed their desire to buy this accessory solo. Now Moog has reacted, and it is also offering it as a kit without the synths.
Moog Sound Studio Accessory Kit
The accessory previously exclusive to the Moog Sound Studio bundle is now also available to purchase for your own setup. The Moog Sound Studio Accessory kit is a comprehensive solution to optimize and protect your semi-modular synth setup, says Moog.
It includes a 3-tier rack system that allows you to mount any combination of Moog’s Mother-32, DFAM, Subharmonicon, Spectravox, and Labyrinth synths together for maximum modularity.
They don’t say that but you can pair the Moog Sound Studio Accessory Kit with any other available 60HP synths on the market. It’s a shame the 3-tier rack isn’t expandable in width like Behringer’s version. So, you are always limited to the 60HP format.
Then, it features the four-channel summing mixer with its built-in power supply that provides flexible routing options and power distribution for all your mounted 60HP synths.
Besides this, it comes with a protective dust cover made from rugged Ballistic Cordura. It safeguards your instruments from dust and spills. Further, it includes a black patch cable organizer that can be mounted on the case. Additionally, it comes with custom Moog patch cables.
First Impression
I am happy that it’s now available as a kit without the actual synths. It took a while. However, the price of this accessory bundle is a bit steep.
Moog Sound Studio Accessory Kit is available soon for 229€/$299

I sure hope they come out with a 4 tier version. I have a 4 tier with a Moog Studio 2 I bought to add to my Subharmonicon and a Moog 60HP Eurorack case. I really want to get a second DFAM and be able to link it up to the Spectravox, Labyrinth, and a 2nd eurorack… Side by side would make it really be a nice set-up.
I think Enjoy Electronics makes a 4-tier to go with their godfather effects.
$299?! Appalling…
“…$299.”
Geez, way to bury the lede.
