Dan Clarke (Dan Burton), Howard Jones’ live keyboarder and ex-Behringer YouTube channel host, passed away last weekend after a cardiac arrest.
A person’s life can be beautiful but also terrible at the same time. If you are lucky enough to live a long life, you can enjoy every moment even longer. Also with your synths. But it can also end quickly.
The latter happened now to a well-known face from the Synthesizer world.
Dan Clarke RIP
In a Facebook post, electronic musician Howard Jones announced today that his live tour keyboardist, Dan Clarke (Dan Burton), has passed away on Sunday of cardiac arrest.
Most people know Dan from the Behringer YouTube channel. He was the host there and made numerous videos for the brand, including the official video for the Behringer Edge.
According to LinkedIn, he was responsible for branding and creating launch and educational content from November 2020 to April 2023. He also worked for nine years for Roland UK and was a videographer and producer for himself under the name Dan Burton.
Breaks my heart to bring you the news that our lovely Dan passed away on Sunday of cardiac arrest. Dan Clarke was a beloved member of my band, he brought energy and joy every night to the stage and was such great company on tour. I’d like to dedicate our upcoming shows to him and his wonderful spirit. I will miss him so much. Words are never enough.

Oh, this is very sad. Really loved his presentations. So young and blessed with great creativity. R.I.P.
Oh, man. I’m sorry to hear this. Especially considering how young he appears to be. Despite having never met him, it’s almost like loosing a friend because his face is so familiar from the Behringer videos. R.I.P. brother.
Wow, I’m shocked at this news. Really enjoyed his work and far too young. Sad to read this.
damn…
What a sad thing. LOVED his energy, presentations and enthusiasm !
Allways a real treat, made me happy ❣️
Take care, see you the other side buddy 💚
Damn. Way too young for that. He was a good presenter for B’s gear and probably pulled in the younger gen audience. At least he got to enjoy a career in music during the time he had on Earth. He made waves in synth videos and on the dance floor for Howard Jones.
Very sad. Rest in peace.
Rest in peace Dan. We loved the speed and animo in your presentations . My condolences to your family and loved ones.
Dan was the best.
thanks for allowing comments on this one behringer post.
Shit!
How sad.
He always brought loads of energy and enthusiasm to the Behringer videos.
Whether yourie a fan of Behringer or not was irrelevant because Dan’s enthusiasm was so real and infectious.
Thoughts to his family.
He had everything I never had.
Charisma, fame and a full head of hair.
God bless, Dan, and thanks for the Behringer vids.
So tragic! Rest in Peace. (Moderation: thanks no spooky things here why or so…)
