Lorn recently published a techno jam “black sand/ironwood” on YouTube in which he leads the Erica Synths Techno System into deep dark sonic spheres. It’s a great jam, unfortunately too short. But that’s a good opportunity to listen to his old tracks again.
Acid Rain and Anvil got me to the music of Marcos Ortega aka Lorn. And they made me want to hear more about his works. For me, there is something mysterious about his music. It abducts the listener into a dark, unknown world full of sounds that run harmoniously into one another. Also in the new Lorn jam below with the Erica Synths Techno System.
Erica Synths Techno System
Techno System is a modular Synthesizer system that is designed for rhythmic sounds. The system is basically a modular drum machine consisting of 16 modules including a sound generator section with a sample drum, bassline, bass drum, snare drum… modulator, mixer, analog & digital effects, and a powerful drum sequencer. Erica Synths says:
