Get a big 64% discount on the IMG Stageline Delta-160 16-channel digital mixer with USB recording, DSP effects… at Thomann for a limited time
There are usually the best deals on software. 50%, 75%, 90%…. that’s true but every now and then there are also very good ones on hardware. And if there is something that is interesting for many, then you have to report about it.
Thomann recently drastically reduced the price of the Delta-160 digital mixer console from the German company IMG Stageline. From initially 629€ to a very affordable 222€, a discount of 64.71%. That’s a lot on hardware.
IMG Stageline Delta-160
Yes, the IMG Stageline Delta-160 digital mixer is not a beauty at all. Looks very industrial and simple. Could almost come from an OEM manufacturer. But if it does its job well, it could be a nice addition to your studio, rehearsal room… On the sheet, the device offers a lot.
The Delta-160 is a 16-channel digital mixer with 12 mono input channels with combo sockets for XLR and jack and two stereo inputs (jack). The desk also offers phantom power. Then, you get 8 XLR outputs on the backside, a stereo monitor (jack) as well as an adjustable headphone output. It also includes digital inputs/outputs for S/PDIF and AES/EBU. Lots of connection options for little money, that’s for sure.
IMG Stageline has also built a USB interface into the Delta-160. Not for MIDI but you can playback tracks and record the stereo sum with 24-bit and up to 192kHz. It ships with a WIFI dongle. A bit of a shame that you can only record the stereo sum, but for the price it’s okay.
It also features a built-in DSP with effects. You get a gate and compressor for each channel as well as multiple creative effects. This includes a delay, modulation, reverb, or a 31-band graphic EQ. The digital mixer is operated with a seven-inch LCD touch screen and nine motorized faders. Alternatively, there is a remote control app for iOS.
For the current price of € 222, you get a lot on offer. Many connections, USB recording, DSP effects, remote control, and more. The features are comparable to other digital mixers such as the Zoom Livetrak Series but at a significantly lower price. But I can’t say how good this digital mixer sounds, how good the operation is. I never tested it. The offer sounds tempting, especially for small studios, rehearsal rooms, or jam environments.
