UVI updates its Falcon Synthesizer workstation to version 2.1 with many new creative features including new effects, new arp sequencer, probability-based scripts, & new sounds.
Synthesizers are complex instruments. Often much more extensive in software than in hardware. You can see this especially with so-called Synthesizer workstations such as Omnisphere 2, HALion, or Falcon. The customer benefits here from multiple synthesis forms, mixing options, and near-endless possibilities.
UVI has now given Falcon another major feature and sound update (2.1) that clearly shows how deep these sound generators really are.
Falcon represents the pinnacle of hybrid instrument design, allowing unrestricted use and layering of oscillators, effects, modulation generators and event processors for nearly unlimited sound design potential.
New Effects, Scrips & More
Falcon 2.1 is a free update for all Falcon users and has many new features. Starting with two new effects that let the effect number grow to over 90. Magnetic Bass Shaper is a new bass-focused hysteretic saturater that is modeled after two famous inductors. It adds punch to your sound while keeping the high frequencies clean. Feedback Machine is an effect rack that allows you to create own custom effect chains with a customizable feedback loop, great for more experimental sounds.
Falcon’s quite extensive script world has also received an update with 5 new scripts that enhance its sequencing facility. Step Arp is a deeply customizable 16-step arpeggiator, Gate Mod – Gate Mod Poly & Gate Mod Bernoulli, are new probability-based utilities, and Chord Strum a new script for strum-like patterns. Further, it introduces an updated arpeggiator with a record function, enhancements to the script AP, UI scaling, and more.
The sound library now also offers more fun with 40 new wavetables and 100 brand-new factory presets.
