Native Instruments starts in October with 5 new product releases: Maschine+, Komplete 13, Guitar 6 Pro, Cremona Quartet & Maschine 2.12 update.

Last September was packed with new product announcements from Native Instruments. This week the news came that the products are now available.

Native Instruments five updates

Maschine 2.12

The first big release is a much-anticipated update for the Maschine software. It introduces a new clips workflow that lets producers arrange ideas in Maschine with even more freedom. It makes it possible to create transitions across scenes, add unique variations to patterns, record MIDI directly into the full arrangement, and freely add audio wherever required.

A great update in my opinion that brings Maschine software a big step forward. The update is available now and is free to all owners of the Maschine 2 software.

Maschine+

Also included is the release of the new Maschine+ which is Native Instruments’ first standalone groove box. It is based on the popular Maschine software, pumped up with built-in virtual instruments (Massive, FM8…) & effects. All this is now available in a hardware instrument with the same workflow. Check out my detailed article about all the features.

Guitar Rig 6 Pro

The big highlight of Komplete 13 is Guitar Rig 6 Pro, which is also available now. The new amps are powered by Native’s new ICM (Intelligent Circuit Modelling) – a new machine-learning approach to modeling amp circuitry with greater depth and realism.

Further, it comes with many new creative effects, a modern UI, and many workflow improvements.

Cremona Quartet

Three new instruments join this year’s acclaimed Stradivari Violin to form Cremona Quartet. The incredible sounds and nuances of some of the world’s rarest and most valuable strings are captured in stunning detail with Amati Viola, Guarneri Violin, and Stradivari Cello.

Each instrument in the quartet was recorded by virtuoso performers in a bespoke environment at their home in Cremona, Italy, which itself fell silent and rerouted traffic during the recording process. Cremona Quartet is out today.

Komplete 13

Last but not least, Native Instruments also released Komplete 13, the latest version of its music production suite. Both Cremona Quartet and Guitar Rig 6 Pro can be found in Komplete 13 but also Arhis, Mysteria, Pharlight, Straylight, Super 8, Session Guitarist – Electric Sunburst Deluxe, and Noire.

Full details can be found in my Komplete 13 article. What I miss in a separate article.

Native Instruments Komplete 13 is available now and starts at 199€ for the Select version. Upgrades & crossgrades will be available for existing Komplete users. Maschine+ is available now for 1299€
