PluginGuru Unify is a new host plugin & standalone application of the extra class: load virtual instruments, layer them, combine them with other plugins and built new mega instruments.

There are hundreds of plugins on the market, from commercial to excellent free plugins. Every musician has many of them on their computers and often buys new ones. Unfortunately, many lose track of what excellent plugins you already have and you overlook the potential of them. Before deciding on a new synthesizer plugin, you should think about what you can do with your existing arsenal.

PluginGuru, a very well known sound designer shows with Unify, a new host application/plugin that unleashes new potential and power of your existing plugin arsenal. Unify features a Guru sampler but also the ability to load any kind of plugins (instruments, audio effects, MIDI effects). You can combine them in any way you want and create so new stunning virtual instruments even with free plugins.

Free Sounds

To get you started, it also comes wth 400 patches and over 2.5 GB of samples from PluginGuru’s 12 sample-based libraries that were originally found in libs for Omnisphere. These patches are designed by John Lehmkuhl (PluginGuru) and Laurent Veronnéz aka Airwave.

PluginGuru Unify plugin is available now for PC & macOS for $59 USD. It’s compatible thru 10.14, not with 10.15 Catalina (actually).

  1. Interesting that both of these sound designers were also involved in Wavestate, released at the same time and widely discussed as something which needs a desktop version or a software equivalent…
