Sinevibes’ New Stutter Plugin Is Your Little Helper For Crazy Audio Repeating Effects

Sinevibes Stutter is a new self-randomizing audio repeater plugin for macOS that continuously samples a small slice of audio and repeats it in a number of ways.

We have not completely lost Sinevibes to the excellent Korg hardware synthesizers with the innovative built-in multi-engine. They continue to develop exciting macOS plugins. The latest release is called Stutter and is a self-randomizing audio repeater plugin with some clever features.

The idea is to continuously sample a small slice of incoming audio, repeats it a number of time, and then starts over. That sounds more like a classic audio repeater but Stutter offers more than this. Each time this sampling-repetition process restarts, the slice size, and the number of repeats are randomized. The effect can run either linked or independently between left and right channels, and also has a variable probability of affecting the input signal.
