Sad news came today from USA. The synth pioneer Alan R. Pearlman, founder of the ARP Instruments company and creator of legendary Synthesizers like the ARP 2500 and ARP 2600, died on January 6 after a long illness.
In the 1960s he worked at NASA on the Gemini and Apollo projects, in 1969 he founded ARP Instruments. In the many years he created with the ARP team many legendary Synthesizers that are still loved by musicians today.
From Dina Pearlman
My father passed away today after a long illness. At 93, too weak to speak he still managed to play the piano this morning, later passing away peacefully in the afternoon. He was a great man and contributed much to the world of music you all know today. Hopefully I can find something more eloquent to say, but I am too sad for words right now.

Even if he has left us, his inventions remain with us. Thank You Alan R. Pearlman aka. ARP for all the wonderful instruments!
