For this year’s Moogfest, Moog Music has again come up with something new. Last year, we saw the Drummer From Another Mother percussive analog Synthesizer which finally went into commercial production early this year.  Participants of the workshop 2018 can solder Subharmonicon, a new semi-modular analog Synthesizer.

The Subharmonicon is inspired by the Trautonium, the Rythmicon, and the Schillinger System. It’s a semi-modular harmonic kaleidoscope that divides into itself until everything that is up becomes down.

First Sound Demo

To arouse the curiosity of the musicians even more, the company has today released a first sound demo on Facebook. It is still a prototype but you can already hear the very interesting character of this new Moog Synthesizer.
