AudioThing released today an good update for the free Filterjam resonant filter plugin for PC and Mac. The update 1.1 comes with support for the VST3 plugin format, a new preset copy/paste function and a “Resizable Window” global option. Beside this, oversampling has been improved and a critical automation bug in Pro Tools was fixed.
What Is Filterjam By AudioThing?
Filterjam is a multi-band resonant filter delivering weird ringmod-like filtered sounds. The input signal is divided into 4 bands that are then summed or multiplied together according to the selected mode. Filterjam can be very harsh or gentle, it can add brightness or depth to synth sounds, but it can also completely mangle acoustic sources.
AudioThing Filterjam is available now as a free download for Windows and Mac (VST/AU/AAX).
