1010music Released Toolbox - New Polyphonic Sequencer & Function Generator For The Eurorack Format

1010music released in the past several interesting modules. The Fxbox (performance effects module), Synthbox (polyphonic Synthesizer module) or Bitbox (touchscreen sampler module), all these modules shared the same hardware but have a different firmware. Today, the company launched the first product based on the Series 2, which has a different hardware platform than the previous Series 1 modules.

Toolbox is a new touchscreen based sequencer and function generator for the Eurorack format. It can handle 4 rhythm sequencers with up to 32 steps, 4 polyphonic note sequencers each with different settings and 4 function generators (3 LFO’s, 1 bar CV sequencer). It features several connection possibilities with different functions. The MIDI input allows you to record sequencers live or via step entry and output to transmit gate and control signals to other devices. The CV inputs serve here as clock sources for gate note sequences and can be used as modulators.

In my opinion an interesting new sequencer module from 1010music. Looking forward to check out this new module at the Tokyo Festival of Modular this year. Stay tuned for an introduction video of this new module.
