Patterning Drum Machine for iPad is already longer available on the app store but still remains the best drum machine app in my opinion. It includes a massive arsenal of amazing features that allows to create very rhythmical patterns but also very complex and wired stuff.

This week, the developer of Patterning announced v.1.3 which adds a complete new feature with the name Cloud Kits that allows to share own drum kits in a cloud. A really cool new feature that gives musicians even more sounds and drum kits to play around. For celebrating this new release, the they are holding currently a contest to see who can make the most popular Cloudkit. They give away a app store credit of $100. I have only one thing to say to my community: Grab your iPad, create your own sounds and release them in the new Patterning cloud. With chance, you will win it. Good luck to all and interesting to hear your results.
