GEM announced at Musikmesse the new Promega 2+ Keyboard which is a new instrument based on physical modelling and sampling. Sound on Sound magazine released an amazing video about this new instrument and it’s sounds great. It’s not the instrument for the Synthesizer players but really one for the stage.
The GEM Promega 2+ engine includes sample playback and physical modelling techniques, along with Natural String Resonance, Filter Algorithm Dynamic Emulation, Advanced Release Technology and Damper Physical Model.
