Vult DSP has ported, in collaboration with Synthesizers.com, the 5H modular synth modules to VCV, and you can explore them for free.

The modular synthesis we all know originated in very large, heavy, and expensive instruments. Of course, the most legendary system here is the Moog Modular system in 5U size from 1965, which has survived to this day.

Many companies do not make modules for it. The most well-known is Synthesizers.com, which now offers its modules as a demo, not as hardware but as software. In close collaboration, Vult DSP has created virtual versions of the Synthesizers.com module for VCV Rack. The best info, they are free of charge.

The VCV Rack is a fascinating free modular Synthesizer platform that has virtualized the workflow and concept of Eurorack synths. Many companies now use the platform to offer virtual demo versions of their hardware modules, such as Befaco and NANO modules. Now also Synthesizers.com modules.

It is very exciting that you can explore these legendary vintage modules in VCV Rack for free. Many of the modules are Moog Modular replicas/clones that have significantly shaped the synth world.

Vult DSP has published an entire blog post about recreating these modules and how authentic and close they are to their hardware counterparts.
