At this year’s Knobcon 2017, KVgear presented a product that many people initially want to see from the Japanese company KORG. The Vixen Mixer is a portable mixer for the KORG Volca Series and the developers describe it as the first and only mixer for these instruments. It comes with 8 inputs (6 mono & 2 stereo) and it features 3.5 mm mono jacks, level, mute, and panning per channel, 2 aux sends/returns (Channel 1-6).

Channel 7 & 8 features 2 stereo 3.5 mm input jacks with a mute and gain knob (+20dB). 2 Aux Send with 6.35 mm mono inputs, Aux Return 1 and 2 with 6.35mm jacks for L/mono and R , a stereo gain knob (+20dB) main out (two 6.35 mm jacks)  and headphone out (3.5 mm stereo jack) This new mixer is specially designed for working with these small portable instruments and it comes with a design that fit to the current Volca lineup.

On top, it offers an onboard hub for powering up to 8 Volcas and the mixer is powered by an external power supply, internal batteries or a external battery.

Excellent new product in my opinion that improves massively the workflow with these devices. KVgear will try to fund the production of the Vixen Mixer via a Kickstarter campaign which will be launched next week.
