NAMM 2026: Roland introduces GO:MIXER Studio, a new audio interface and USB mixer for content creators
Musicians today are content creators. They jam or produce a complete song, and simultaneously create a video that they can share on their social media. A studio is no longer absolutely necessary to create music. You can just as easily make it on the go or on the couch.
Companies have adapted their products to this change in recent years or offer specific solutions for such workflows. Ahead of NAMM 2026, Roland has expanded its mobile range with the GO:MIXER Studio, a new audio and MIDI interface for content creators.
Roland GO:Mixer Studio
GO:MIXER Studio is a portable audio interface, MIDI interface, and mixer for content creators and mobile musicians. It supports macOS, Windows, and iOS mobile devices. It’s designed to be an all-in-one solution for content creation and streaming setups.
The Roland GO:Mixer Studio has two XLR inputs on the back, perfect for connecting your mics, and a set of TRS line inputs and a dedicated Hi-input for guitars. Additionally, there is a stereo minijack AUX input, offering bi-directional audio for mobile devices.
Whether you’re a guitarist, synthesizer player, or singer, there’s a suitable input for everyone. As an output, you have a set of TRS line outputs for studio monitors.
Next to the Hi-Z guitar/bass input, you also have a headphone socket and a headset microphone input. Something you don’t usually find on traditional interfaces, but only on streaming hardware.
On the backside, you also have a set of minijack MIDI input/output sockets. USB-C 5V or 9V powers the unit, and another USB-C port connects to your computer or mobile device.
Neat, it also has built-in effects, including compressor, EQ, and reverb to enhance your microphone and instrument signals. According to Roland, they can be used while direct monitoring or recording.
Further, it has individual EQ stages for the headphones and line outputs, allowing you to customize your signals. An obligatory loopback function is also onboard, enabling streaming and online content.
GO:MIXER Studio also features memory locations for up to 16 scenes. Lastly, Roland also ships the mixer with the GO:Mixer Cam for iOS, allowing you to simultaneously record audio and video, plus the GO:MIXER editor for macOS and Windows.
First Impression
At first glance, this is a solid all-in-one audio/MIDI package that is very compact yet offers a wealth of features.
Roland GO:Mixer Studio is now available for pre-order at $299,99/279€.
