Woodscaper for macOS is identical to the iOS version with AUv3. It’s a multi-effects processor plugin with four independent FX blocks: wah-wah, chorus/flanger, phaser, and tremolo.
Each FX can be used independently and with the other FXs with flexible routing options (serial/parallel). The Wah-Wah effect gives you different wah flavors and controls over the dry/wet, frequency, rate, and depth.
Then, the built-in chorus also has various controls, making it very versatile: dry/wet, time, rate, depth, saturation, feedback, and LP/HP filters. Next to this is the phaser that has everything onboard to dial in the perfect phase sound with adjustable poles, frequency range, modulation flavor, and more.
The tremolo is also very flexible. You can choose between amplitude, ring, or harmonic tremolo types, with additional controls for threshold, bias, and harmonic crossover.

For everyone else, I think it doesn’t bring much new to the table. Surely $1 is nothing and you can try it. You don’t lose much here and you have a new FX plugin either way.
