Caelum Audio Flux Mini 2
Flux Mini 2 is a rhythmic audio effect plugin that adds life, character, and dynamics to your tracks. The core uses a customizable envelope/graph that can be used to modulate different parameters. It allows you to draw a shape on the graph and once drawn, you set the modulation amounts and the plugin outputs rhythmic effects.
Then, there are two control points that are control points for the curves. You can modulate the filter cutoff, filter resonance, amplitude, and mix. On the filter side, you get 3 different modes including lowpass, highpass, and bandpass. Furthermore, you can control multiple parameters at once and apply host tempo sync. So your effects are synced to the tempo of your tracks.
Additionally, you can output the graph as MIDI CC messages giving you the freedom to control other synthesizers and effects plugins. Caelum Audio ships FM2 with 20 presets to explore right away.
FM2 is a lovely free plugin that creates interesting “flux” effects including simple side-chains, subtle filter changes up to crazy rhythmical elements.
Caelum Audio Flux Mini 2 is available now as a free download for macOS, Windows, and iOS. It runs as a VST3, AU, and AAX plugin and as an AUv3 on iOS.
