Kodamo Bitmasker is an upcoming digital, pocket-sized Synthesizer with harmonic-rich algorithmic oscillators, weird modulations, and more.

We love synthesizers. Some have a preference for classic synthesizers, for others, the designs can’t be crazy enough. I love to report on synthesizers or instruments that try to offer something new, even go far beyond the classic. In case you have missed it, here is an article about the best experimental synths of the year 2020

Kodamo, known for its EssenceFM Monster FM Synth is now also going an experimental way with its new announcement. Ok, not brand new, they showed it on Facebook already in November.

Kodamo Bitmasker

Kodamo from France introduced the Bitmasker, an interesting new portable Synthesizer. Currently, only a prototype / render but definitely worth writing about it. There is not much control on the interface. Two knobs, a screen, and many buttons with which you can go through the individual points. It looks like every button of the main menu has an A / B architecture. You can find here wave, filter, ADSR, envelope, mod, play, pattern, scale, tune/portm, effects, arps… So everything you need in a synthesizer.
