For Superbooth 20 Home Edition, Polyend extends the Medusa Hybrid Synthesizer with new creative features in update 3.0 and announces a new limited black edition.
Polyend Medusa is a very unique hybrid Synthesizer that stands out above all due to its different interface design that invites to other composition possibilities. It combines analog synth goodness from Dreadbox and advanced digital synthesis in a unique shaped pad instrument. Last year on the Superbooth, they released a major update 2.0, which significantly expanded the sonic capabilities of the synth (new wavetables, better random algorithms, more modulations options…).
For Superbooth 20 Home Edition, the creative Polish company released another big update for the Medusa Synthesizer. The new update includes a new random wave for the LFO as well as a new MIDI Local off function. The latter gives you now the option to play the Medusa MPE pads with another instrument and play the internal synth engine with another external controller at the same time. Further, both LFOs and envelopes are now able to send out their native values out as CC and each synth parameter is now displayed with the assigned CC number. Another nice improvement for the Medusa.
Limited Black Edition
On top, Polyend announced a new noble-looking limited black edition that includes colorful knobs in the box. It should also be known that Polyend already introduced the Tracker before the SB20 HE, a small portable audio workstation with a lot of power.
Polyend Medusa 3.0 update is available now as a free download. The new Limited Black Edition will be available in May for 798€.
