Inear Display’s latest update for the Litote effect processor features a new editor that opens the granular engine to everyone.

Good news coming from the French developer Inear Display. The company released today an update for the granular effect processor plugin Litote. It features now a new editor that opens the granular engine and gives you more in depth sound design possibilities.

Overview

By default, Litote delegates patch creation to a smart randomizer for instant gratification and endless possibilities. The generated textures can then be tweaked using the Engine Editor which gives you control over the processing parameters. For perpetually evolving sounds, Litote also includes a trajectory mode to travel through these granular landscapes automatically.

With deep sonic possibilities hidden behind a playful and easy to use interface, Litote is an essential tool for musicians and sound designers.

New In Litote V.1.1

  • New: Engine Editor allowing manual adjustment of the underlying parameters.
  • New: Stereo Link option for each engine.
  • New: MIDI Mapping of the XY pad.
  • New: MIDI Program Change Support.
  • Various minor bugfixes.

Litote v.1.1 is a free update for existing users! The plugin is available now for VST/AU for 39€ excl. VAT.
