A spring reverb can add vintage character to any sounds and with the iconic shake possibilities, you can even go very crazy with them. Many of the old Synthesizers from the past (EMS VCS3, Buchla Easel, ARP 2600) had a great sounding spring reverb built that colorise a lot the sound of these machines. Already back in 2008, the Swedish Software company released a nice spring reverb emulation as plugin for PC and Mac.
Recently the company announced that this best-known plugin is also now available as module for their Modular Synthesizer. A good decision is: existing users of the Spring Reverb and Modular synth, will receive this module as free download. It’s part of their initial Spring Reverb purchase.

A great spring reverb sound is an absolutely classic ingredient of modular synthesis. Legendary systems like the EMS VCS3, Buchla Easel, and ARP 2600 all had built-in spring reverbs, and now you can get that vintage ambience in your Modular patches too. One of the greatest things about Modular, our virtual Eurorack modular synthesizer, is that it keeps expanding. In recent years new modules from Intellijel, 4ms, Doepfer, and Buchla arrived, adding massively to the feel of a vibrant and ever-improving ecosystem, always with the best sound quality around.
