Plugin Boutique announced today a limited time sale on the Klevgränd Syndt Synthesizer plugin for PC and Mac. Syndt is not a classical synthesizer but has a quite unique sound character. It’s a high-quality polyphonic Synthesizer with a straightforward interface design with which everyone can design directly own sounds. Syndt doesn’t feature a big oscillator section but include a oscillator waveform that can be morphed between pure sine to pure square and supports altering of pulse width. With this morphing feature, you can achieve a lot of different sonic timbres. For more movement in the sounds, you can modulate the shape and the pulse width with two independent LFO’s.
Additional low-pass and high-pass filter with resonance allows you to add and remove harmonics from your sounds and three different effects (ping pong delay, stereo chorus and three-band EQ) can be used to refine the final result. Syndt* is a high quality polyphonic synthesizer with a lot of possibilities. The oscillator waveform can be morphed between pure sine to pure square, and supports altering of pulse width. Both the shape and pulse width can be modulated by two independent LFOs. With fine-tuned low pass and high pass filters combined with a separate filter attack setting, (optionally based on velocity) this synth can create some raw and interesting sounds.
The additional LFO can be shaped exactly as the oscillator, and optionally controls filters, gain and pitch (using a modulation wheel or just automatically). This LFO can be synchronized to a AUv3 host. Globally there’s a nice stereo chorus, ping pong stereo delay (that also can sync to a AUv3 hosts BPM) and EQ.
